Suzann Pileggi is a freelance writer specializing in the science of happiness and its effects on health and relationships. She is a columnist for the International Positive Psychology Association newsletter and Wisdom magazine and has written features for a variety of publications including Scientific American Mind, Natural Health, and Style. Her 2010 Scientific American Mind cover story “The Happy Couple” was selected by the magazine as one of its most intriguing articles of recent years and was included by the editors in the 2012 “His Brain, Her Brain” special issue on the differences between men and women.
She’s currently writing a book on how to cultivate thriving relationships by applying the tenets of positive psychology and is using her certification in health coaching to help people make better food and lifestyle choices. Suzann holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Master of Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and is also a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
